Chili’s (on Military Base) in Ramstein-Miesenbach

"When you’re in Germany and haven’t had Chili’s for a few years, Ramstein Air Base should be a go-to. As of this post (25 June, 2022), the menu is limited and they’re closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays due to a short staff. They did, however, say they were expanding the menu out. For those who get the best sellers, the limited menu is still great with all the favorites. The air conditioning vents above are for looks so, if you visit during the summer, expect some warmth! The drinks were delicious and about as strong as one would normally expect from a chain restaurant. It was another plus to be in a place that doesn’t charge by-the-cup for soft drinks. It was a nice touch of home that way—not to mention the plastic straws (which is either a plus or a negative for you depending on your stance on paper straws). The servers were all great and it was an enjoyable mix of American and German staff. They were prompt with drink refills and made sure the chips and salsa stayed fresh. Almost no wait time for the food. That’s a universal positive for any restaurant—so well done, Chili’s. Overall, it was great to visit something we’ve not had for a few years and we weren’t disappointed. Definitely recommend a visit if it’s been a while!"

"As much as we’ve been wanting some chips, salsa, and a margarita, we’ve been hesitant to visit Chili’s due to some of the reviews. We finally caved and went for a late lunch today, and our experience was amazing. We were immediately sat, waited a little bit to initially receive service but then were well taken care of, it wasn’t smelly and it seemed to be clean, we had the ultimate fresh marg, the dip trio, the fajita trio, and a kids pizza and it was all delicious & warm (and without maggots and drink floaters). The kids did get their food with the appetizer, but they were hungry so we appreciated it. If you want it to come with the adult entree’s, mention it to your waiter. Compared to other meals, we felt that it was reasonably priced. I’m not saying they are going to get it right every time, but don’t let the bad reviews deter you if you are needing a taste of the states. We will be back."

"Service has definitely improved in the last few years. Wait time for seating was short, food came quick, delicious, and fresh. Waiter was polite, friendly, and very attentive to fulfill all of our needs. I applaud all staff!! Me and my family will definitely be dining here again."

"The Food brought me that taste of the states I was looking for, the bottomless chips are a must have & very tasty. Food was good, service was very good the waiter saw my drink was low and came with a new one without asking. I would eat here again. Price was very reasonable for what we got."
